Answer a legal request, with proof to back it up.
An identified entry point for authorities, a legitimacy check, a handover limited to what is required, and an enforceable log of everything that was handed over.
Under construction: the reception procedure is written and the building blocks of the gateway exist; the service is not yet open to authorities.
Lawful access, from receipt to proof
Identified entry point
The authority submits its request through an authenticated channel, not a generic address. The handling officer is identified as well.
Verified legitimacy
Issuing authority, legal basis, scope: everything is checked and documented before any technical action. National requests and the e-Evidence regulation.
Qualified scope
We establish which data really exists and which is targeted. Most often, the authority asks for more than what exists.
Minimal extraction
We hand over what is required, never the database. The scope retained is the narrowest one that satisfies the request.
Enforceable log
Who asked, what, when, what was handed over, by whom: everything is recorded in a sealed log.
Notification or freeze
The user is informed when the law allows it; when the law forbids it, the notification is frozen.
Separate preservation and production
A preservation request is not a production order: they are handled and recorded separately.
Transparency report
A publishable, aggregated and dated report, with no individual data whatsoever.
What we will not do
- Never more than what is required
Handing over too much exposes the user and the publisher. The gateway retains the narrowest scope that satisfies the request, never the entire database.
- Never an approximate answer
A gateway that cannot say “this data is not collected” invites fishing expeditions, which is the opposite of minimisation. Justvia can say it.
- Never a handover without proof
Every step is recorded in an enforceable log. Preparing nothing is already a choice, and the riskiest one.

Frequently asked questions
How do I submit a request to SANTVIA?
A dedicated address is being set up; it will be published on this page. Until then, the request must be addressed to SANTVIA's legal representative, not to a commercial or support address.
Does Justvia answer in place of the publisher?
No. The gateway equips the verification and keeps the proof; the decision to hand over belongs to the publisher, under the signature of its legal representative.
What is handed over to the authority?
What is required and what exists, never the entire database. If a piece of data is not collected, the answer says so.
Is the user concerned informed?
When the law allows it, yes. When the law forbids it, the notification is frozen.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is coming. No price is announced before it is settled.
